Canadian commercial finance · Coordinated comparison

We’re on your side of the table.

One profile lets us review suitable financing paths across a curated network of independent financing providers. Nex coordinates the comparison of amount, cost, term, security, and repayment structure. We do not lend our own capital; each provider makes its own decision and issues its own terms.

Why Nex exists

Canadian small businesses don’t get killed by competition. They get killed by cash flow.

Banks say no to anything that doesn’t fit a template — even when the business is profitable, growing, and well-run. Meanwhile, predatory MCAs and high-rate factoring shops eat margin until there’s nothing left to grow with.

Nex was built to coordinate the comparison, earning its fee only when a facility funds. That alignment means we review suitable paths, structure the request, and explain the trade-offs before you decide whether to proceed.

Full transparency

How does Nex Financial get paid?

We earn a commission only when a facility funds — if your file doesn’t fund, we aren’t paid. Here is exactly how the money works.

The complete version — conflicts of interest, lender network, rate figures — lives on our disclosures page. Your file is shared with lenders only with your consent. Your credit is only checked when you send your application to the lender you choose.

  1. Lender-paid commission

On most files the funder pays us a percentage of the funded amount — typically 1–5%, varying by product, lender, and facility size. It’s paid from the lender’s own margin and does not change the rate, term, or fees you’re offered.

  2. A transparent broker fee, occasionally

On certain larger or non-standard files we may charge a broker fee — disclosed in writing, in advance, and either deducted from funding proceeds or invoiced separately. We never charge upfront, application, or “discovery” fees.

  3. Everything itemized before you sign

Before any commitment you receive a written summary of the lender’s pricing and fees, and any compensation Nex will earn on the file. You can decline at any time before signing the lender’s commitment.

What we stand for

Three principles. Non-negotiable.

Transparent pricing

Every fee in writing, before you sign

No surprise origination fees. No buried broker fees. Whatever the lender charges and whatever we earn — disclosed up front in plain language, before any commitment.

Right-fit structure

The cheapest yes isn’t always the best yes

We turn down files we can’t structure responsibly. We tell clients when a smaller facility is actually safer. We push back on terms that break under real-world cash flow stress.
